Easter at the Lyons

This year we were sure to get up extra early to beat the traffic and make it out to the Lyon's in Murrietta before the World Famous Clam Dip came out. It's really good and it sure doesn't last long!
Gianna's two Best Friends, Madison and Ethan. Madison spent the whole day taking care of and entertaining Gianna and Ethan. It was like having a day off. Gianna LOVED playing with Madison all day and was sad to say goodbye after so much fun.

Pretend City

We went to Pretend City with Ethan and Krista. Gianna had such a great time!!! There is so much to do there. There is a garden, a grocery store, a theater, fire department, and many, many more areas for kids imaginations to run wild.
Gianna planted and picked vegetables from the garden. She kept wanting to feed the carrots to the baby chick beacause she was worried he was hungry. It was so cute. But the poor chick couldnt understand why he couldnt have the carrot.

Ethan and Gianna had the most fun playing in the water. Even though they both had raincoats they both ended up soaked.

Bugs Life Ride

It was very special day at Disneyland with good friends. Piper gave up her Paci as her admission ticket to the park. What a big girl! We are so proud of you Piper!!!

Halloween

For Gianna's first Halloween we took her to Disneyland for Mickey's Halloween Party to do some Trick or Treating.

On Main Street we found some Chargers just in time to catch a parade with them.

Then it was off to do some Trick or Treating. There was a route set up in each land with differnt candy spots. Gianna would even hold her bag out to collect the treats. She got quite a bit of candy, which we are still enjoying.

LA Rock N Roll 1/2 Marathon

Saturday morning Liz and I went to the Expo to pick up our race numbers.

Sunday morning we left at 4:30am to head downtown and catch the shuttle to the starting line in Griffith Park. Amongst the 15,000 participants we found Liz's friend Mandi and we all rode the shuttle together.

YAY!!! We did it!!!! We finished in 2:29:15!!! It was my goal to finish in under 2:30 so I was very excited to have made it!
